WHO IS THE TUITION FOR?

My lessons are for all levels of sewists and designers! From my studio in North Oxford we can cover whatever topic you’d like to focus on, all at your own pace (I can also suggest topics if you know you’d like to learn something new but aren’t sure where to start). My studio is fully-equipped with sewing machines, a mannequin and wonderfully large cutting table!

WHERE DO the LESSONS TAKE PLACE?

My lessons are held at my studio within Makespace on Aristotle Lane, Oxford.

HOW LONG ARE the LESSONS?

A standard lesson is one hour long, but it can be as long as you'd like! I am very happy to offer full or half day private tuition for people who have something specific or detailed that they’d like to learn.

WHAT TIMES DO YOU OFFER LESSONS?

I offer lessons starting between 9am - 7pm (finish final lesson at 8pm) Monday to Thursday, and starting between 9am - 5pm (finish final lesson at 6pm) on Fridays.

WHAT DOES A LESSON LOOK LIKE?

Every lesson is suited to you and what you’d like to learn, and can cover topics including:

• Sewing skills

• Pattern cutting

• Draping

• Design skills

• Portfolio tuition

But one thing remains constant throughout all types of lessons, which is that I want you to enjoy yourself whilst you’re here, so the atmosphere is relaxed, mistakes are celebrated and creativity and experimentation is encouraged!

HOW much does it cost?

Each hour costs £50.
